The Madeira Wine Company, S.A. was originally an association of a number of Madeira wine producing companies, who decided to join forces in 1913. including the family firms of Blandy’s and Leacock. In 1989 the Blandy family invited the Symington Port shipping family from Oporto, Portugal to join them in partnership. This partnership has continued to the present day.
This dry Madeira is a collaboration between the Madeira Wine Collection and Francisco Albuquerque of Blandy's. It has beautiful acidity and medium body. The mellow palate provides flavors of orange zest & peel, tangerine, mocha, citrus, gingerbread, dried figs and caramelized nuts with hints of Irish coffee. Enjoy as an aperitif or with tonic and lime.
