Tasting Notes: Black currant, Nutmeg, Tangerine, Citrus
Krug 2006 is a story of indulgence, roundness and elegance, nicknamed “Capricious Indulgence” by the House. Beautifully creamy and complex, with mouthwatering vibrancy and focus. It's full-bodied, deep and layered, with superb concentration, racy acids, an ultra-refined mousse, and balanced tannins. The generous palate supplies flavors of red plum, black currant, coffee, spice, tarte tatin, tangerine, citrus, and fresh apple as well as biscuit undertones and stone and flint notes.
