Founded in 1760, Maison Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses. As a proud Royal Warrant Holder since 1900, Lanson remains an official supplier to the British Royal Family; and since 1977, Lanson has been associated with The Championships, Wimbledon and became the official Champagne at the iconic tournament in 2001.
For 250 years Lanson have chosen to avoid malolactic fermentation - a decision that ensures their champagne preserves a naturally crisp and fresh taste. They use grapes from 100 villages with 40% reserve wine spanning 10 vintages. Grand & Premier Crus account for 50% of the blend, This outstanding NV sparkler has racy acidity, chalky tannins, medium body with a fine stream of persistent bubbles and a lingering, dry finish. The juicy, round palate conveys flavors of chopped almond, pink grapefruit, lemon, green apple, brioche, Anjou pear, Mirabel plum, red/black currant, mineral, and honeycomb. Great on its own or pair with Mushroom ravioli with parmesan shavings, or salmon.
