Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Black Currant, Blackberry, Spice, Oak
Carmel Winery, the historic winery of Israel, was founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, owner of Château Lafite in Bordeaux. They have never missing a harvest over the 3 centuries they have been in existence.
The Carmel Selected Cabernet Sauvignon is DRY, medium to full bodied, and elegant with lots of texture and sturdy tannins. It's full of blackcurrant, raspberry, cherry, blackberry, olive, earth, oak, and warm spice flavors. Meat dishes, pasta, and cheese will match well.
