Grape: Nero d'Avola
Tasting Notes: Strawberry, Anise, Sage, Violets
Tami is an Arianna Occhipinti project and the goal is to make good, simple, natural wine in Sicily. The vineyards have been converted to organic viticulture and the wines show a lighter, brighter side to Nero d'Avola.
Nero d'Avola is the most widely planted grape in Sicily. It is sometimes compared to Syrah and in this case, it does have a similar character, but in a more graceful style with smoother tannins. An absolutely delicious and appealing wine that is easy to drink.
