Grape: Nerello Mascalese
Tasting Notes: Red cherry, Raspberry, Lemon, Mineral
At Graci, Alberto Aiello Graci remains steadfast in his respect for local traditions as well as the distinct nature of each vintage and only cultivates traditional varieties indigenous to Mount Etna
This lovely Rose, made from Nerello Mascalese, is grown in volcanic soil on the northern slopes of Mt Etna and vinified in concrete. That terrior gives elegant minerality from start to finish. It's medium-bodied and very fresh with an appealing kiss of tannins lending to its wonderful structure. The palate is loaded with flavors of tart cranberries, red cherries, rose petals, strawberry, stone fruits, and dried herbs, with blood orange and lemon notes and a very satisfying minerally finish. Pairs with a variety of foods such as seafood or a summer salad.
