Grape: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan
Tasting Notes: Strawberry, Citrus, Watermelon, Mineral
As a négociant and vinificateur (winery), Caves d’esclans identifies vineyards, grapes and wines from Château d’Esclans as well as local growers to make what has reputedly become the world’s greatest rosé - Whispering Angel. This authentic rosé from Provence operates as a playful, trendy, energetic “little sister” to Whispering Angel.
The Palm brings elegance, depth, richness and complexity though a little less intense than Whispering Angel. It's light to medium bodied with crisp acidity and a green apple washed finish. There's loads of subtle fruit notes that hit the round palate - lemon, strawberry, watermelon, melon, apple, and peach as well as hints of minerals and saline. Would go well with a watermelon salad with goat cheese, and light or raw seafood. It's a lovely Summer sipper.
