Tasting Notes: White Peach, Apple, Melon, Butter
Planted in the early 1880's, Peirano Estates was one of the first vineyards in Lodi. Five generations have grown and harvested grapes from their vineyard for over 100 consecutive years.
This Chardonnay is barrel aged and has a hint of creaminess balanced by a light touch of acidity On the palate, there are complex flavors of sweet and rich apples, pears, fresh picked peaches and juicy sweet honeydew melons. Soft hints of butter and vanilla round out the wine to produce an effortless, intriguing, medium-length finish. Pair witha boiled lobster dipped in butter.
