The fresh expression of this Figeat Pouilly comes from its temperature controlled, stainless steel tank fermentation process, which is carefully monitored and free of malolactic transformation. This results in a bright, crisp flavor profile with tart acidity and tight structure. Along with the classic tropical, citrus and herbal notes, look for a slight smokiness throughout, present thanks to the soil characteristics of the Poilly-Fume terroir.
