This critically acclaimed super Tuscan lives up to the hype. This gorgeous, full-bodied red is complex, well rounded, structured, and balanced with depth, elegant and supple tannins and great acidity. The palate is long and dynamic expressing flavors of black plum, juicy cherry, licorice, blackberry, balsamic, oak, leather, tobacco, and menthol. Ready now but will develop over the next few years. Should do well with pasta with duck ragu, roasted meats. or aged cheeses.
