Filipo Antonelli, once the president of the winemaker's association of Montefalco, is well regarded as a top producer adhering to traditional winemaking practices.
The Antonelli Montefalco Rosso is medium bodied, dry, balanced and well structured with marked tannins and lifted medium+ acidity. Deep and rich flavors of dark red berries, leather, earth, red plums, currant, raspberry, pomegranate, vanilla and tobacco come forward on the palate. Great with flavorsome first courses (ravioli, risotto, tagliatelle) or ribs.
