Antxiola, made by Bodegas Zudugarai, was founded in 1989 by the Errasti family, the same year that the DO of Getaria-Txakolina was founded. The wine is bottled young to retain some of its natural effervescence. The name Antxiola refers to a famous fortified home. A rendering of that home is on the label of this wine. 

Bright, zippy, crisp pick - whatever descriptor you perfer this wine will invigorate your palate with acid and its natural delightful soft effervescence. It has depth and complexity as well as a pleasant, funky finish. Lime, green apple, strawberry and ocean spray caress the palate. Pairs with seafood, chicken, salads, or vegetables.
