Antxiola, made by Bodegas Zudugarai, was founded in 1989 by the Errasti family, the same year that the DO of Getaria-Txakolina was founded. The wine is bottled young to retain some of its natural effervescence. The name Antxiola refers to a famous fortified home. A rendering of that home is on the label of this wine. 

Bright, zippy, crisp pick - whatever descriptor you perfer this wine will invigorate your palate with acid and its natural delightful soft effervescence. It has depth and complexity as well. The palate features flavors of green apple, lemon, lime, minerals, and maybe a touch of jalapeno. Pairs with seafood, chicken, salads, or vegetables .
