The Bodegas El Nido winery is the Orowines group stronghold in the Jumilla DO of Spain with very old grapevines and all of them have a north to northeastern orientation.  With the goal of achieving a pure expression of Monastrell grapes in their wines, the familia Gil and Jorge Ordoñez came together to craft the grand wines of the Bodegas El Nido winery with the help of the brilliant Australian enologist, Chirs Ringland.

This powerful wine has extrodinary complexity, incredible elegance, great structure, and perfectly balanced acid and tannins. The silky palate feature intense flavors of blackberry, black currant, vanilla, oak, leather, blueberry, plum, chocolate with spice nuances. This wine needs to accompany robust foods like roasted leg of lamp or venison. We recommend that you decant at least 2 hours before you drink it.
