The Bodegas El Nido project is the result of the collaboration of the Gil Family and Chris Ringland (one of the best Australian enologists).

Clio hails from the hot, dry and harsh region Jumilla in southeastern Spain. It is a big, bold, flavor packed mouthful of ripe berries, cherry pie, black licorice, vanilla from the time spent in American oak, baking spices, and juicy plum. This is a classic, powerful, decadent wine with concentration and balance but with surprisingly smooth tannins. Will pair well with mushrooms, stewed meat, sausage, pork, or roasted meats.
