Grape: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Corvinone
Tasting Notes: Black Cherry, Plum, Coffee, Chocolate
The 'Il Ruffiano' Valpolicella Classico Superiore opens with aromas of dark cherries, chocolate, tobacco mixed with sweets spices and a touch of grilled herbs all taking shape in the glass. This has an impressive round silky texture with wonderful balance of ripe fruit and acidity as it heads into the long finish. It's good now but can age for another 10 years.
