A true icon from Lombardy. Ca'del Bosco means 'house in the forest'. It is one of Italy's most distinctive wine companies. The story of Ca'del Bosco is an absolute success story. In the sixties, Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small hut in the forest with a few vineyards on Mount Erbusco in Franciacorta. In sixty years her son Maurizio transformed this tiny house into an impressive state-of-the-art-winery. In 2002, the winery was even declared "Winery of the Year" by the renowned Italian wine guide Gambero Rosso.

The Cuvee Prestige 45rd Edizione has a firm structure, a rich attractive mousse and a persistent finish. It is elegant, soft and delicate with freshness and crisp acidity all in balance. Accents of toasted brioche, pear, apple, stone fruits, honeydew melon,  and butterscotch lead to pastry and chopped almond flavors in this rich Franciacorta. It spent 25 months sur lies. It's a great apertif or match it with a rich risotto, fish or cheese.
