With over 45 harvests under their belts, and the second generation of winemaking Cakebreads now running the winery, this little family winery has become one of the most successful and respected wineries in America.

The Cakebread Chardonnay is balanced, finessed, supple, and round with superb concentration, great depth, medium plus body, and bright acidity. Grapes for this wine come from the world-famous Carneros appellation in southern Napa Valley. It is aged 8 months sur lie in French oak barrels, 30% new. You'll detect pear, apple, butter, oak, lemon, lime, and cream on the palatte which will roll into a long, minerally finish. Pair with fresh salads, grilled scallops or cheeses.
