One of the oldest (1896) and most influential wineries in Rioja, Carlos Serres uses 100% estate grown grapes from the Finca El Estanque vineyard. The winery still respects the legacy and traditions of its founder.

Tempranillo forms the backbone of this elegant, smooth and richly layered blend. The palate shows a wine that has resolved its tannins, has integrated the acidity and feels very silky and compact. There's also abundant black fruit, cherry, and cassis accented by delicate floral notes, complex cedar and earthy undertones providing deeper complexity. Pair with wild boar chop and saffron risotto, charcuterie, roasted mushrooms, or lightly smoked foods.
