Tasting Notes: Blackberry, Tobacco, Plum, Caramel
Carmelo Patti is one of the most respected enologists and winemakers in Argentina. He insists on holding all wine until he deems it "ready" for release which is usually 3-5 years after harvest. All wines are made naturally, with no chemical additives and only native yeast.
The 2017 Malbec is aged in a combination of concrete vats and used oak barrels. The palate exudes flavors of berries, plum, leather, vanilla, tobacco, oak, and hints of mint and caramel. The finish is long, soft and smooth.
