Grape: Azal, Arinto, and Loureiro
Tasting Notes: Honeycrisp Apple, Key Lime, Baguette, Mineral
The historical province of Minho is named for the river that wends its way through the northern edge of the region, along the shared Spanish border, rising gently into the hills of Galicia. Wines of this region are so often marked by their youthful character, that they are given the moniker “Verde.” Casa do Valle masterfully presents the characteristics for which this DOC is renowned. With crisp, strict composition, and acidity that well balances the oak of the barrel, the green grapes are expressed with bright effervescence and a delicate floral harmony that is distributed with precise, resonant intonation.
