Caymus Special Selection is the flagship wine of the Wagner family and is comprised of the very best barrels of the vintage. This wine is not produced in difficult years. The Special Selection is the only wine in the world to be honored twice as Wine Spectator magazine’s “Wine of the Year”. 

This wine embodies the richness and structure that puts it among the world's top producers of Cabernet and Bordeaux styled wines. Full body and power with absolute harmony of tannins and acidity and great balance. Flavors of bright and bold black fruits, earth, cherry, plum, and sweet blackberry preserves with complex zesty notes of cacao, spice, forest floor and luxurious oak should make a lovely pairing mate with a thick grilled Porterhouse.
