This Vinho Verde, from the three man team of Cazas Novas, is produced exclusively with Avesso grapes originating from the 25 hectare vineyard on the Coutinho family estate. Avesso, unlike the more commonly used Alvarinho,  lends surprising depth and richness, while still displaying the characteristic freshness and bright acidity of classic Vinho Verde. A plump floral bouquet underscored by notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The regional terroir provides essential minerality, which adds length and nuance to the finish. A food friendly wine; pair with local catch-of-the-day or a homemade Paella.
