Grape: Chardonnay
Tasting Notes: Citrus, Mineral, Apple, Oak
Château Fuissé dates back to 1604 and has been in the Vincent family for five generations. Today under direction of Antoine Vincent Château Fuissé has reached the pinnacle of quality in the region with its wines rivaling the more famous appellations.
Rich, complex white Burgundy that is fleshy, structured, light plus bodied, and well balanced with stoney acidity. The luscious palate provides flavors of apple, pear, mineral, lemon, grapefruit, ginger, and smoke with a classic oak and honey base and a slightly buttery finish. Pairs well with turbot as well as grilled fish, fresh salads and light cheeses.
