Chateau Guiraud, an 1855 First Growth Classification in Sauternes. It is one of the most important properties in the Sauternes. Chateau Guiraud officially got its Organic Agriculture in 2011.
The Chateau Guiraud 2017 is a delicate vintage, but it is indeed a grand wine with powerful botrytis characteristics. It is perfectly balanced, full bodied, and sweet soft, tangy acidity. The rich, opulent, wonderfully exotic palate delivers flavors of stone fruits, pear, citrus, gingert, and ample minerality all emerge. The finish is long, warm, and honeyed. A great dessert wine to drink with peach cobbler or pineapple cheesecake.
