Chateau La Fleur des Rouzes is located in Pomerol’s exclusive district, known as ‘the plateau’. A family property for 100+ years, the estate is comprised of only 2.8 hectares (7 acres) of vineyards.
Well structured, this is a solid dry wine with full body, good depth, elegant and long tannins nicely balanced by medium acidity. Aged 14 to 16 months.
Rich in style, this 2018 has layers of ripe berry fruits, plums, violets, vanilla, blackcurrant, earth and spice with well-integrated oak flavors. The tannins make it worthy of aging but you can enjoy it now with at least an hour in the decanter. Pair with game or grilled meat.
