Chateau Suduiraut has a long history in Sauternes that dates all the way back to 1580. In 1992 Suduiraut was sold to AXA, the large French insurance group that counts several top level Bordeaux wine properties in their holdings.
From the Grand Cru Sauternes estate Chateau Suduiraut, this second label is produced from selected parcels of the estate, giving surprising freshness to what is a rich wine. This lovely, full bodied dessert wine exudes flavors of apricot, honey, peach, pear, butterscotch, caramel, vanilla, and marmalade, The finish is long and elegant. Spicy Asian cuisine, sushi or sashimi, and blue cheese make great pairings.
