Grape: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot
Tasting Notes: Spice, Blackcurrant, Cassis, Oak
Established in 1990 by the Pairault family, the chateau is surrounded by classed growth properties. Tasting Teynac means getting as close as possible to the Saint Julien appellation.
This Saint Julien is pure, intense, distinctly elegant and complex with a wonderful, silky texture, and great balance. Blackberry, plum, oak, vanilla, cassis, blackcurrant, cloves, and nutmeg flavors glide over the tongue. Drink with the classic roast beef, lamb with garlic & rosemary, or Portobello mushrooms dishes.
