Tasting Notes: White Flowers, Pear, Nectarine, Mineral
Château de Lavernette was founded in 1596 with a vision of making great Burgundian wine. The Château grows and makes Pouilly-Fuissé and Beaujolais from their estate vineyards, hand-crafts its wines as few still do today, adhering to the traditions of artisan winemaking. This is unlike any Burgundian Chardonnay you have tasted. It's aged for 16 months on lees, giving it a dense complexity and fuller body feel. However, the fine acidity and crisp minerality balances the weigth and makes this wine truly unique.
