Agave: Tequilana Weber Blue Agave.
Tasting Notes: Caramel, Vanilla, Spice, Cooked agave
First launched in 2014 by master distiller, Arturo Lomeli, the Clase Azul Anejo Tequila is an ultra-premium tequila that is slow cooked in traditional stone ovens for a minimum of 72 hours. Once the agave reaches a deep, rich flavor, it is fermented with proprietary yeast. After distillation, it is carefully aged for 25 months in second-use Bourbon oak casks. It is then triple micro-filtrated to ensure the highest purity. Smooth on the palate with cooked agave, caramel, vanilla, spice, and a savoury green and herbaceous edge. The finish is long with agave coming to the fore once again. An eminently sippable luxury tequila. This special gift comes with a 24-karat gold charm medallion and is signed by the Arturo and the Mazahua artisan who made it.
