Pét-Nat is short for pétillant-naturel, or naturally sparkling. These wines are made using the méthode ancestrale, an ancient method of producing sparkling wine by bottling it just before the end of primary fermentation. This process captures the carbon dioxide that is naturally released.
This Pet-Nat is gently sparkling and quite bright. It's a more extracted style of rosé with deeper color and earthy notes. This is absolutely a must-have at a Thanksgiving table. Unfined and unfiltered. No sulfites added.
