Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Raspberry, Blueberry, Cherry, Mineral
In 2001, two generations of the Cobb family came together to explore a shared passion for pinot noir with the founding of Cobb Wines. Since then, the Cobb Wines vineyard program has evolved from just the Coastlands vineyard to include four other hand-tended, independently owned vineyards on the Sonoma Coast.
This 2014 bottling from the Coastlands vineyard has a medium body and shows great balance and elegance with suave tannins and tight acidity. The luxurious palate features tremendous ripe fruits—red, blue, and blackberries, cherry, red plum, spice, and hints of green tea. It's an exceptional candidate with grilled lamb chops
