Covenant’s sister label the Red C Red uses mainly fruit from Sonoma as well as some juice from the Covenant Cabernet Sauvignon. This full bodied wine is highly vivacious, and round with good depth, firm acidity and soft, supple tannins. The fruit (black cherry, blackberry, cherry, plum) shines on the palate along with herbal and mocha flavors and a hint of oak all culminating in a  long, lush and fresh finish. Pairs well with mushrooms, marinated chicken, grilled beef or lamb.
