Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Cherry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Earthy
Cristom Vineyards was established by founder, Paul Gerrie and his wife Eileen in 1992, who each possess a deep-rooted respect for the land, the natural winemaking process, and Pinot Noir. They are certified Sustainable by Low Input Viticulture & Enology (LIVE), both in their winery and in their vineyards.
The Mt. Jefferson Cuvee is Cristom's flagship Pinot Noir. It's medium bodied with fine tannin and balanced acidity, and tastes of cherry, dried cranberry, strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate, earth, mineral, clove, cinnamon, red licorice, and red plum. Showing surprising complexity and firm structure in its youth, this wine will age well for years to come. Excellent companion of a succulent chicken stew.
