Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Cherry, Berry, Coffee, Oak
Michael Pozzan’s wine roots trace back to the late 1800’s in Piedmont, Italy, but it wasn't until 1990 that Michael quit his sales position to follow his dream of producing his own wine. Named after his eldest son, Michael Dante, the Dante line of wines he produces are reminiscent of the wines you would sip in your favorite Italian trattoria.
The Dante Cabernet Sauvignon provides a lot of depth and complexity. It's full-bodied and balanced with soft ripe tannins and moderate acid. The smooth palate conveys flavors of blackberry, cherry, plum, sweet spice, coffee, cedar, and dark chocolate. The long finish is perfumed with fresh vanilla bean. Excellent with BBQ ribs.
