At an altitude of 365 metres, Monthelie overlooks the Auxey-Duresses and Meursault valleys. The Changarnier family has lived in this village for several centuries, founding the domaine in 1720. Farming/vinification practices are certified organic,
White Monthélie is the close cousin to Meursault, it will surprise you by its suppleness and just the right degree of acidity. The Changarnier has good balance, good complexity and medium plus intensity. It's a fruit forward white Burgundy that pleases the fresh, mellow palate with flavors of apple, pear, peach, citrus, tropical friut, white flowers, oak, butter, cream and vanilla. This beautiful wine will go well with seared shrimps or fish tagines.
