Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Cherry, Raspberry, Earth, Spice
This historic family estate was created in 1765 validated by the testimonial of a “tastevin” (a wine tasting cup traditionally carried by a sommelier) stamped with the year and the family name. Vincent Rapet and his wife Sylvette oversee the estate, and Vincent is known for his classic winemaking style.
This lovely wine from Rapet has a wonderful roundness, power, richness and depth. It's complex with lots of layers. Very classic Burgundy. The wine provides rustic notes, along with flavors of baking spices and red and black fruits. It is recommended with lamb, duck breast, red meat or a soft cheese.
