Tasting Notes: Plum, Blueberry, Oolong Tea, Rosemary
From the picturesque hillsides of Cotes du Rhone and famed soil of Rasteau, this estate bottled red carries on a tradition of winemaking stretching back seven generations, marked as much by its attention to detail as its excellence. There’s no mistaking that this is a big wine, redolent with ripe red fruit, herbal hillside aromas with hints of black tea and exotic spice. Forward facing tannins that are balanced perfectly give this wine great body and a pleasing finish. Very drinkable, so open now, but decant for fullest expression of its distinctive character.
