Grape: Chenin Blanc
Tasting Notes: Orchard fruits, Apple, Cantaloupe, Mineral
Domaine Huet is an iconic Vouvray producer and lauded for making some of the world's most compelling white wines. It was founded in 1928 by Gaston Huet with the purchase of the vineyard "Le Haut Lieu" whose fruit was used for this bottling.
Round and lush on the palate, the 2018 is a full bodied, dense, refined and charmingly sweet Haut-Lieu. It exhibits rich orchard fruit, creamy texture, and complexity, with zesty acidity balancing the residual sugar. There's a long finish that reveals very fine tannins.
