Tasting Notes: Red fruit, Mineral, Citrus, Herbs
The talented young Christos Zafeirakis trained in Piedmont and Tuscany. He has built a winery both in honor and continuation of four generations of winemaking in his family. He has single-handedly revived the almost-extinct indigenous Greek varietal, Limniona.
It's a dry, flavorful rose that has lively acidity, medium body and is well balanced with a creamy texture. It shows bright cranberry, strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, and mineral aromas and flavors with savory undertones of sage and Mediterranean herbs. A good choice for fried or steamed fish or mousaka.
