Pingus is produced by the visionary Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck. Pingus has a quality that is often lacking in today's "modern" wines-a sense of utter individuality. There is no other wine in the world, let alone Spain, that is quite like Pingus, and that singularity is one of the fundamental requirements for great wine.
PSI is Peter Sisseck's most recent project and one where his intention has been to bring out a fresher, fruit-foremost wine profile, that is to say, without the concentration that characterizes his coveted Flor de Pingus. This wine comes much closer to the actual fruit juices, especially red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. A juicy wine, intense on the palate, with spicy notes and very subtle hints of oak-ageing, delicious and refreshing.
