The Napanook wine is blended from blocks in the eponymous vineyard that were carefully selected for their lively fruit, soft tannins and early maturing characteristics. It's a classic, balanced, medium to full bodied wine with round, creamy tannins and medium + acidity. The smooth palate resonates with black plum, and black currant flavors together with iron, mushrooms, sage, bay leaf., crushed stones, blackberry , licorice, and a touch of oak. Pair it with a grilled, well-marbled NY Strip steak.
