Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Cherry, Baking spice, Earth, Oak
As one of Oregon's wine pioneers, Erath winery's founder, Dick Erath, was driven by the belief that the future of Pinot Noir was in Oregon. Today, Erath's wines are an expression of the land that the winery has cultivated for more than 40 years.
The Estate Pinot Noir from Erath is dry, structured and balanced with bright acid, lithe tannins, and light to medium body. The silky palate exudes cherry, strawberry, earth, smoke, spice, oak, mushroom, and Mission fig flavors. Excellent with wild mushrooms, duck, roast beef, lamb, or even grilled salmon.
