Keefer Ranch Vineyard was planted in 1988 and in 1999 a deal with Failla owner-winemaker Ehren Jordan resulted in Failla’s 1st ever vineyard desígnate Pinot Noir. The 2017 Failla Keefer Ranch was selected as the #55 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2019 wine.
This wine is rich, intense, gracious, and velvety, medium in body, with integrated acidity, and solid overall balance, The smooth palate features an abundance of red fruits, baking spices, licorice, currant, and slight notes of oak and vanilla. The finish is long and savory. Will age well for 7-10 years. Pair with duck or roasted chicken.
