Tasting Notes: Blackberry, Spice, Plum, Sour Cherry
Lornano is a boutique winery owned by the same family since 1904. Their wines are produced exclusively from the vineyards of the estate, vinified in a modern cellar in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and aged in an old wine cellar, completely underground protected from sudden temperature changes.
This is a critically acclaimed Chianti Colli Senesi made by a Classico house. It's full-bodied, rich in extracts, with moderate tannins and zippy acidity. The palate presents flavors of exotic spice, French oak, black plum, prunes, sour cherry. clove, and chocolate that lead into a long smooth finish with a touch of spice. Pizza, ravioli with red sauce, and burgers will thank you for pairing this wine.
