The Feudo Di Mezzo from Graci is a very savory, earthy, single vineyard wine from the northrn slopes of Mount Etna. It is very structured, medium bodied and   with lifted acidity, chewy tannins and good length. The expressive palate gives flavors similar to Nebbiolo - cherry, dried strawberry, earth, smoke, forest fruits, tar, and volcanic mineality. Needs a savory meat dish like Lamb Ragu With Rigatoni or a Middle Eastern Lamb Stew.
