Grape: 65% Pinot Noir, 22% Valdiguie, 13% Gamay
Tasting Notes: Strawberry, Apricot, Jasmine, Tangerine
Sustainably farmed with grapes from some of the best growers on the Sonoma coast, Anderson and Russian River Valleys, Gros Ventre (one of our favorite producers) has crafted what we would call the ideal Rosé, in that it is every bit as versatile and drinkable as it is delicious. Bright, pleasing lemon acidity is rounded out by sweet fruit juiciness; qualities which are given depth by hints of a few subtle, herbal summer notes as it leads you down the path to its long, and mouth-watering finish. This wine is a stellar pairing with a wide range of different foods, yet remains perfect for drinking by itself on a warm summer day.
