Tasting Notes: Apple, Mineral, Brioche, Lemon Peel
The Henriot family has been deploying its wine-producing expertise and conquering new markets worldwide for eight generations. Established in 1808, Henriot incorporates an exceptionally high proportion of Premiers and Grands Crus in its cuvées, which come from the best Chardonnay parcels.
A beautifully fine mousse indicates the class of this finely crafted, highly rated wine. This is well-balanced by crunchy acidity and an impressive light texture, full-bodied and fairly youthful in structure. It spent 3 years on the lees. On the palate there's apple, pear, lemon peel, chalky soil tones, fresh-baked bread and spring blossom. Pair it with longneck clam sashimi.
