Tasting Notes: Green apple, Peach, Citrus, Mineral
Jean-Marc Brocard learned the art of the vine with Emile Petit, his stepfather, and his cousin, P’tit Louis. In 1973, Jean-Marc Brocard chose to settle in Préhy and build his own Domaine in the middle of vineyards. Jean-Marc Brocard’s respect for his land has remained the bedrock of his work. Today, a large part of the vineyard is cultivated according to the practices of organic and biodynamic farming.
Jean-Marc Brocard's Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume is an highly rated expression of Chablis premier cru. It's a pleasant, refined, elegant, and supple wine that still carries the mineral quality of the Chablis. The light and fresh palate presents green apple, peach, lemon, lime, mineral, honey, and saline nuances. Goes perfectly with fish, seafood, and creamy or grilled shellfish.
