The roots of the Kruger-Rumpf estate date back to the early 1700s. This estate is producing world-class wine. This is an innovative estate that is on the move. The current generation has been practicing organic viticulture for several years, they have started the transition for certification.
Part of the vineyard was planted in 1937 and this is the section that this EL wine comes from. This unique wine has stunning concentration, richness, minerally acid, and great structure. It's full bodied and balanced. The fresh and piquant palate presents lemon, lime, melon, minerals, green apple, petrol, and wet stone with wild herb and flower nuances. The finish is long and dry. Great with sushi or spicy Thai dishes.
